As a general principal PIC LLC focuses on quality businesses with unique competitive advantages. PIC LLC stays well capitalized and long-term oriented to remain in a position to take advantage of discounts produced by distressed markets.
Taxation
As an Arizona LLC all taxes pass through the Company to the Members. This avoids a double taxation situation typical with most corporations and publicly traded holding companies. To further benefit from the tax code, PIC LLC prefers securities which can be held indefinitely - reducing capital gains tax.
